Four Hundred & Seventy One. -NK Hairworks

Some time ago, I dropped by NK Hairworks to revive my hair.

As you can see............

my hair was in a pretty bad condition due to a show which I did back then.
Crazy amount of hairspray + curling of the hair.
Really really bad for the hair. 

My hair looked dry as well because the brown was fading to a lighter shade.

Decided to dye my hair to almost black,

& after a Mist O3 Therapy Treatment,

Four Hundred & Seventy; -Mummee's Bday!

For Mummee's bday this year, we brought her to Uncle Leong Seafood.

It was my suggestion.

I've tried Melben Seafood before,

so this time, I wanted to give Uncle Leong a try.

(since they used to be side-by-side at AMK)

Four Hundred & Sixty Nine; 敬愛的碧珠姐。

今天無法送她最後一程，因為得工作。蠻遺憾的。。

她，就是碧珠姐。

Due to work, I am unable to send BiZhu Jie on her last journey. Today was the last day of funeral.

大約四個月前，是我第一次與她相遇。

托A 姐的介紹，我才有機會認識到碧珠姐。

碧珠姐幫我安排了一個視鏡。

當時的我，開心的不得了。

It was my first time meeting her,

approximately 4 months ago.

Thanks to A, who introduced me to her.

BiZhu Jie arranged a casting session for me.

& I was so glad to receive a call from her.

到了視鏡當天，我已做好準備。

雖然有點緊張，但是她的親切友善讓我較安心。

演完最後一場＂哭戲＂後，

碧珠姐說了一句：＂有感動到。。做演員就是要能夠讓觀眾感動。很好！＂

她的那一番話，還深深的烙在我腦海裡。

碧珠姐，謝謝您，當時給我的一點小肯定。。

On the day of casting, I was prepared.

Despite being nervous, her friendliness made me felt at ease.

After my casting, she mentioned,

Six Hundred & Sixty Eight; -confused mind;

Sorry I've been on a hiatus again. 

Things have been happening around me these few days,

both good & bad news.

Exciting upcoming plans which I was looking forward to, all 3 of them,

until I realized that the schedules may clash/overlap with one & another somehow.

Someone whom I was really grateful for, left the world.. before I had the chance to show her my performance.

I will remember her, for life.. I shall not disappoint her.

Confused, emotional, excited, tired, motivated, all at once.

Feel like I'm going through some "growing up" phase, teenager all over again kinda feel;

only that I'm already rightfully an adult.

Okay, & adults have to make wise decisions.

Therefore, I shall think carefully.. with my confused mind.

Meanwhile, lemme get myself a spoonful of peanut butter as comfort food.

& perhaps some yogurt (would be good if there is some ice cream.......) too.

Yea sure, that's what we adults do.

Remind me to stock up on my Big Bang Seaweed.

Maybeline & I headed to SHINE Youth Festival 2012 Media Conference,

thanks to OMY. 

*Gives ourselves a pat on our shoulders for waking up so early to be in Town for this event!*

What is SHINE Youth Festival about?!

SHINE Youth Festival is a festival that features an exciting line up of events and activities. Held in the 

Youth Month of July, the festival is a platform for youth between the ages of 15 and 35 to pursue their 

interests, and showcase and use their talents and creativity to promote worthy causes and give back to the community.  The festival is a platform to encourage youth to take the lead in ground-up initiatives, as well as highlight the good work of local youth organisations in nurturing and developing youth leaders.

The SHINE Youth Festival returns with a fiery heart for the community this year.

SHINE 2012 enables youth to unleash their aspirations and

Honestly, when I was first saw the picture, I didn't expect myself to like it that much,

until I collected the watch & saw it in real life.

I fell in love with the exquisite design instantly.

Four Hundred & Sixty Six. -White Beehoon; Food for Thought

Finally had a try at this white beehoon which Buddy Ong was raving about.

Can't believe the last time we met was in Dec 2011.

It really didnt feel that long! :)

The most bimbo question which I asked him,

"Beehoon = white in colour whatttttt. What's so special?"

hahahah. Anyhows, I was expecting it to taste just like Hor Fun.

But it wasnt exactly like it. There is no "wok hei" taste to it like how hor fun usually has.

It turned out better than I expected!

I like how there was a tinge of sweetness to it. 

Besides the seafood, the beehoon tasted really good on its own. 

Not too heavy, yet satisfying.

$4 per plate. They have bigger servings too.

I'm in love with it & will definitely bring my family to try it soon!

Genting Day 2- Part I

Day 2 was so fulfilling that I have decided to split into two entries,

so that it wont be overoverloaded with photos.

Now, it's just overloaded. okay not funny but you get my drift :D

It actually kinda brightened up my day 

when I realized we were having our breakfast buffet at such a nice place.

Four Hundred & Sixty Two. -hiatus.

I really wanted to edit my photos and start blogging about Genting Day 2 & 3,

but I was caught up with work the whole week, 

including the recent weekend. 

Sunday night was spent reading through my scripts.

Will be filming for 3 different productions over the next two days.

Very glad though! :)

& then, I will be back to blog about the trip!
