Just like the quote that I came up with, & hold close to heart,

Whatever your goal may be, work hard & go for it.
Let your dreams be bigger than your fears.

Be daring. It's impossible to live your life without failing.

What matters it that when you fail, you jolly well stand up strong, find out your mistakes, learn from them, recharge yourself & go for it again. Stronger & better.

Don't give up so easily; nothing is stopping you but yourself.

Surround yourself with people who are working hard towards their dreams as well.
Stay motivated by these people, & encourage each other along the way.

It helps a lot.

Do not be pulled down by negative people.

People who are too weak to follow their dreams, will find ways to discourage yours.

Now, think of what you really want to achieve in 3-5 years' time.

Set your mind, heart & soul on it.

On a saturday morning, I headed back to my secondary school,

for a mini netball carnival.

This gathering, involved 11 generations.

yes, eleven.

 

& my generation, was the oldest present that day,

aka the 1st generation.

We called it the Old Ginger vs Young Sprouts day :')

Just came back from my staycation yesterday night,

& I have some time before heading out to give tuition,

so imma share with you something nice!!!

I was missing taiwan's food so so badly yesterday,

& was looking through my Taiwan Grad trip photos,

& randomly read one of my taiwan posts.

To my surprise, 

I spotted this 毫大大鸡排 (Hot Star Large Fried Chicken) at City Square Mall!!!!!!

I tried it in Taiwan before & it was DAMN SHIOK!!!!

Have you ever experienced times when you were lying on bed,

but you couldnt move at all.

You tried shouting, but no voice came out?

You struggled to move your arms, but they felt like they were glued to the bed?

You tried to breathe, but your chest felt really heavy?

Yes? 

Then, we are the same.

We have experienced Sleep Paralysis before.

Well, in Chinese culture, it is commonly known as "鬼壓身".

Remember me mentioning about U U Tau Huay??

 

One of the craziest things that I've done before,

is queuing for almost an hour for Lao Ban tau huey.

homygod.

so thankful that I found U U tau huey!

I mean, taste-wise i think it matches up to only 90% of Lao Ban's,

but texture wise, i think it wins laoban.

smooth, no powdery taste & doesnt "break" easily.

Additionally, it has an outlet in the North,

& there is no need to queue for so long!!

So, here are the other outlets.

I always buy from the TPY outlet,

not sure if there are double standards for other outlets ;D

try & lemme know okay!!

Anyways, recently, I did a short film for NLB.

Call time for Day 1 was 830am.

been eons since I last worked so early in the morning!

I just got my new phone: iPhone 4S!

 Bought it at $498 with contract,

& the phone was also delivered to my doorstep!

Why didnt I wait til iPhone5 is out? :(

Because my sis needed her iphone 3gs back.
Why not Android?
Because Instagram (psst, @_shinekoh) is not available for Android phones yet!!! >:(

Otherwise, I might have bought Galaxy S2,

since it is like $200 cheaperrrrrrr.

I had a chance to catch The Lorax, in 3D! ;)

Brought Ah Min along to catch the show wimme.

A standard synopsis of the movie first:

Danny DeVito lends his vocal talents to the iconic title character of the Lorax, while Ed Helms will voice the enigmatic Once-ler.  Also bringing their talents to the film are global superstars Zac Efron as Ted, the idealistic youth who searches for the Lorax, and Taylor Swift as Audrey, the girl of Ted’s dreams.  Rob Riggle will play financial king O’Hare, and beloved actress Betty White will portray Ted’s wise Grammy Norma.
