Four Hundred & Eighty Three. -Eleven Minutes;

"Letting go is accepting,
letting go is having the courage to accept change,
the strength to keep moving."

It takes a whole lot of courage to let go.
To let go of what you have been familiar with all these while,
to step out of your comfort zone,
to embrace the uncertainties on your new journey,
to find out if the grass is indeed greener on the other side.
Sometimes, letting go allows you to see clearer,
because the previous desperate attempt(s) to hold on tightly has blurred your vision,
& you no longer know where you are heading to,

you no longer know what is it that you really need/want.
Letting go, releases your heart & soul.

“You will find that it is necessary to let things go;
simply for the reason that they are heavy.
So let them go, let go of them. I tie no weights to my ankles.”
--C. Joybell C.

Letting go doesnt leave feelings of anger, jealousy or regret.
You wouldn't know if your decision to let go leads to regret,
until time & reality hit you hard in your face.
By then, if you are fortunate,
you still have a chance to chase after what you walked away from.
If not, you jolly well accept the decision you made,
& you move on.
You don't have to forget the memories, but you accept & you move on.

I just finished reading "Eleven Minutes",
written by Paulo Coelho.
I've always loved reading his quotes on Twitter,
& I knew how well-known he is.
Finally had the chance to read his book,
& yes, Eleven Minutes was the first.

Truly amazed.
Randomly borrowed these books from the library one day.

This book is about love,
about how a young lady who was forced to sell herself to survive,
gradually learned to accept the circumstances,
& instead of weeping & being depressed her whole life,
she made the best out of the situations,
she grew even stronger, understood herself better,
& discovered the relationship between love & sex from a whole new level.

Here's sharing with you some of my favourites from this book:

"Everything tells me that I am about to make a wrong decision,
but making mistakes is just part of life.
What does the world want of me?
Does it want me to take no risks, to go back to where I came from
because I didn’t have the courage to say “yes” to life?"

--Paulo Coelho (Eleven Minutes)

"While the journey lasts, i must look at the surrounding landscape and whoop with excitement."

"It's taking chances, falling over & getting up again."

This is a long & wordy post.
If you have made it thus far,
I hope you managed to take away something from Paulo Coelho,
just like how I did.

Feeling emotional? Yes.
But I will be strong, as always.
